If yous or a family unit fellow member take ranitidine (Zantac) to save heartburn, yous may have heard that the FDA has found a probable human carcinogen (a substance that could cause cancer) in information technology. The story is unfolding quickly and many details remain murky. Here is what we know so far and what you should practice.
What do nosotros know so far?
On September 13, 2019, the FDA announced that preliminary tests found low levels of Northward-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) in ranitidine, a heartburn medication used by millions of Americans. This week, the drug companies Novartis (through its generic division, Sandoz) and Apotex appear that they were recalling all of their generic ranitidine products sold in the Usa.
These announcements came after a Connecticut-based online pharmacy informed the FDA that it had detected NDMA in multiple ranitidine products nether certain test conditions.
What is ranitidine and which products are afflicted?
Ranitidine (also known by its brand name, Zantac, which is sold by the drug visitor Sanofi) is available both over the counter (OTC) and by prescription. It belongs to the grade of drugs known every bit H2 (or histamine-2) blockers. OTC ranitidine is normally used to salvage and preclude heartburn. Prescription strengths are also used to treat and prevent more serious ulcers in the tummy and intestines. Multiple companies sell generic versions of both the OTC and prescription products.
So far, but Novartis/Sandoz and Apotex accept recalled products. Ranitidine distributed by other companies remains on store shelves.
Wellness Canada, a federal section within the Canadian government, has asked all companies to stop distributing ranitidine drugs there, indicating that "current prove suggests that NDMA may exist nowadays in ranitidine, regardless of the manufacturer." French republic has taken the step of recalling all ranitidine products.
What is NDMA and what damage can it cause?
NDMA is an environmental contaminant that is found in water and foods, including dairy products, vegetables, and grilled meats. Its nomenclature equally a likely carcinogen is based on studies in animals; studies in humans are very limited.
It is of import to know that the NDMA in ranitidine products does non pose whatever immediate health risks. Neither the FDA nor Novartis/Sandoz or Apotex take received whatsoever reports of adverse events related to NDMA found in ranitidine. Although classified equally a likely carcinogen, NDMA may crusade cancer only after exposure to high doses over a long menstruum of time. NDMA is ane of the aforementioned impurities that was found in certain centre medications beginning last year and that resulted in the think of many products.
What should you do if you take ranitidine?
As the FDA and other agencies around the globe go along to investigate ranitidine, more details volition go available. In the meantime, the FDA is not calling for individuals to stop taking the medication.
However, for many conditions, ranitidine is only recommended for brusk-term apply. If you have been using ranitidine for a while, now would be a good time to discuss with your physician whether you lot still need it, and whether yous might do good from ranitidine alternative, including other drug classes or a dissimilar H2 blocker. Based on what is known then far, there is no evidence that other H2 blockers or other heartburn medications are affected by NDMA impurities.
Some people might discover antacids useful for relieving heartburn. Lifestyle changes, including fugitive certain foods and beverages, such equally spicy foods, large or fat meals, and alcohol, can also aid prevent episodes of heartburn.

I've been taking Ranitidine (Zantac) for well over twoscore years. Originally in 75mg doses one time a solar day and and then x-fifteen years later in 150mg doses once a day. It has never failed me especially since I travelled around the world for over 20 years and ate the spiciest of foods. It was the just medication that has consistently helped me. Several times I tried ALL the other alternatives for various periods of fourth dimension (bet never more that iii-4 months) and the acid reflux killed me. Nothing, and I mean nothing, worked like Ranitidine. I don't know what I will practise without it. I will probably have to take 3-4 times as many pills (450mg to 600 mg) of whatsoever of the other medications to do what a simple 150 mg dose did for me. I love spicy foods so this is a huge disappointment for me. The cancer scare is merely a lot of BS in my apprehensive stance. There are hundreds, if non thousands, of products that take been proven to cause cancer (including plain h2o from cities around the earth), so this is well-nigh probably a lot of "ado almost nothing". I've had cancer (over xx years ago), simply not of anything related to the stomach, esophagus, intestines, or anything relating to what Ranitidine could take (probably) caused. I'm not a md, simply I know my body relatively well (having had over 25 surgeries – mostly relating to cleaved basic), simply have been tested constantly and continuously. Thus I definitely exercise not believe in this Ranitidine scare, and I certainly would be dorsum on it immediately in one case it comes dorsum on the market place. Just call up about it: breathing air in well-nigh cities around the world introduces more harmful carcinogens than swallowing thousands of Ranitidine pills. I promise the FDA gets their act together and starts working on REAL problems, and not something that is potentially just a fairy tale.
tin can any of the wellness ministers or product CEO of ranidine tell the public what symptoms they should be looking for? what tests they tin can get there family dr. to do to preclude any serious cancer out pause? the public deserves to know. cheers

Don't panic everyone. Endeavor cold ice cream for those heartburn days. Anything natural first equally these joke companies simply care about making coin.. hell, plastic h2o bottles give me bad heartburn. Never have a problem with a metallic or glass container with water. As for the meds. Try Pepcid AC with the famotidine.

I have been taking generic rx zantac 800 mg for over iii years. Information technology worked great for me until near half dozen months ago, now I have an almost constant burning in my upper stomach and a lot of acid coming in my pharynx. After reading about anybody taking this medication in way less doses then I take, I am afraid to go to a gastrologist to encounter why I feel so much pain.
Eat a normal diet that is fruit, vegetables, whole grains and just normal existent food and stop eating pizza, cookies, any soft drink or beer, in short annihilation laden with sugar, how-do-you-do fructose corn syrup, all your basic reconstituted corn molecules and you should be fine. If you don't want to exercise that, then yes await heartburn, it's a pretty obvious cause and effect scenario.

I just had a lung lobectomy due to very early on detection of lung cancer.
I also took Zantac for well-nigh a yr daily. I quit smoking about two years ago where I suspect this was the main culprit although I am now surprised to hear Zantac could have also caused the danger.

I was looking for annihilation indicating if or when information technology will be available. Imperazole seems to work meliorate, simply supposedly it may lead to brittle bones, which is a concern to old people like me.
I've been using zantac for quite a while. I find it crazy that the FDA would take serious a whim from a Connecticut based online drug dealer to cause all this concern.

If Walgreens pulled Zantac off the shelf and then why are they still filling my husband'south prescription for it? Doesn't it all contain a carcinogen?

Because it'southward a generic to zantac not the proper name rx make hence it's non zantac it's merely ranitidine hcl aforementioned ingredient but unlike formula zantac is pulling information technology because information technology'due south there name make tbh beginning calcium supplements due north vitamin d supplements they help only tbh but continue taking information technology if if still fine from 20 years it'south a carcinogen everyday we take in carcinogens sum fifty-fifty legal like alcohol northward tobacco but billions and millions of deaths all the same legal what a country
Same hither. Mine just got filled yesterday.
In terms of the level of business organisation, it'south three parts per meg. Very, very pocket-sized amounts," Professor Kelly said.
"We've at present tested 135 unlike batches of this medicine, and nosotros're finding about 75 per cent of those are positive above that level of 3 parts per million.
"If someone were to take a ranitidine tablet for their entire life for 70 years, every twenty-four hours, then the risk of cancer may get up past most one in 100,000, so I think you tin can run into from those figures information technology'due south a very small-scale risk."

Where did you get the numbers from?
I would question, is that number still the aforementioned, 70 years 1 in 100,000, for those who take been taking ranitidine long term and are immunosuppressed? Or does in that location demand to be an additional study for this grouping?
after reading all these comments I have a very bones question–is the NDMA added to Zantac by the manufacturer ?(in which case what goes in can also come out, regardless of the legal questions that arise)–or is it some kind of naturally occurring substance ( as in the air, similar mold) that cannot be avoided?
If the former, there is a solution, if the latter, you demand to change the recipe, no?
The problem is the bodily molecule "ranitidine." The molecule itself is unstable and tin can collaborate with stomach weather (and in some instances, even collaborate with itself – like when heated to 130 degrees celsius) to form nDMA. I think zantaccancer.com published the citizens petition from valisure that has all the data.

My dr prescribed ranitidine the 24-hour interval after the think. When I asked nearly information technology, she said she would write me a prescription then the pharmacy would give me pills from an unaffected lot, as opposed to what'south on the over-the-counter shelf. This puts me in their system to be notified if the one I am taking too becomes an issue. I suggest yous talk to a dr and see if you become the same answer. I am now using it but prescription only. It is very affordable. You lot are right, information technology works dandy.

I like many others all over the globe have been taking ranitidine dollar general brand or Walmart brand for at least 15 years and for ten of those years I accept taken it daily along with prilosec because ranitidine is fast acting and prilosec is long acting only I tin't ever afford to take prilosec with it so 80% of those 10 years have been ranitidine at least 4-sixteen 150mg tablets in 24 hours considering ranitidine is only a acid reducer then heartburn usually returns within eight hours after my first dose of 6 in the morning. So yep I am struggling with what I am going to do and what I tin can afford because other than ranitidine no other medication has worked for me at all except of course prilosec. I have e'er been told by my physician that the ranitidine itself isn't what causes cancer but having GERD and other stomach or esophageal bug that cause astringent heartburn and pain along with information technology being and so bad like myself that I threw up for at least 12 years out of the 15 that I had taken ranitidine and what causes cancer is when you practise non get the proper treatment for these diseases or tummy issues then years of your tummy acid constantly being thrown upwardly into your esophagus your mouth throat and gums this is actually what causes cancer so basically if yous can't afford insurance and you have been denied medicaid and you continue taking medications that are only a temporary fix and not medicine that heals the problems then fact is y'all most likely will have esophageal cancer or gum disease or throat cancer and damage so I judge question really is what selection volition you brand either be in extreme pain or take medication that is merely temporarily helping not fixing the trouble and either way you end up with cancer then why suffer when the odds are against you no affair which management you turn
I take suffered with heartburn almost all my life. I had gastric featherbed surgery in 2004 and was told my heartburn would magically stop……NOT! Lol in 2016 I was rushed to the hospital, died twice on the way and again after arrival. I was in the hospital and rehab for 61 days. I literally had to learn to walk again as my legs just simply quit working. Long story but I was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis which is a condition where toxins in the body suddenly flood the kidneys and they close downwardly. It poisons the body. My physician asked how long I had taken the loftier dose I took of ranitidine daily. Of grade I had taken it 20+ years since it became available OTC. He clearly blamed this medication for what happened to me, he said information technology had a loftier metabolic charge per unit and the continued use at high dosages built up in the kidneys until they just but were out. Never had I heard anything about this earlier he told me. After I got domicile I saw one of those "lawsuit" ads which stated basically what my dr. told me. So, cancer isn't the merely danger with this medication, delight use information technology cautiously I would'nt wish what happened to me on anyone else, even my worst enemy.

Attempt famotidine in identify of ranitidine
I agree with yous totally because I am in your same gunkhole, can't get Medicaid, tin can't afford insurance so what choice do we have? Just one that has the aforementioned outcome, simply ane has less suffering.
I have Barrets syndrome from years of acid reflux. Finally went to a Gastroenterologist who suggested aloe vera juice along with pantroprazole and 2 ranitadine per day. My reflux stopped immediately with the aloe vera, even before starting the other items. Information technology'due south low price and has been used for thousands of years.

As soon as I heard there might be a problem, I bought a two year supply. Information technology should exist my pick if I take it. I should be able to sign a waiver. The quality of my life plummets even if I try something else. The other meds tell yous to take information technology for only a curt time. That doesn't work for me at all. Quality over quantity.

I stopped taking it. I'm looking for something else to take that is safe. My heart sunk when I saw information technology on the CBS Earth news last evening. Did you research this online or did you speak to professionals similar pharmaceutical engineers and scientists? Only about 25% of what you lot read online is true, anyone tin post annihilation online depending on their agenda. Scaring people out of perchance taking the merely medicine they tin can beget is irresponsible, be careful what y'all say and the rumors your perpetrate. Been on 150mg 2x per twenty-four hour period for 5 years or so. Called my pharmacist when these seemingly deliberately vague articles began appearing. Pharmacist told me at the time (apx. 6 weeks ago) that only over the counter Zanex was effected by retrieve. Upon refilling my RX concluding week, later on another series of vaguely factual articles had been released, I asked my pharmacist if my prescription was safe. Am seeing my ear, nose and throat Dr. who prescribed this medication adjacent month and will discuss options with him. Ranitidine has worked extremely well for me.

I took protonix for years. pepcid and nexium did not truly work. nexium caused a terrible palatableness and gave me awful GAS.. zantac is the just affair that worked after the insurance visitor stopped paying for protonix.. i've been taking generic zantac 75 mg 3 to four times a day for about 10 years now… wonder if that causes problems.. (sigh)…
I don't know, I think I am going to continue to take it. I capeesh the education but, anyone that suffers like I do, know that there is not much relief out there and non everything works for each individual person. NDMA is a carcinogen and found in many daily things like water, dairy, meat, etc. I just volition take my chances because even the air nosotros breathe is dangerous. In my stance I would rather think of it helping more and so then slowly killing me.
I don't know what all you have tried, merely I could suggest drinking college PH h2o such every bit element of group i water. My father-in-law used to have to accept a heartburn pill subsequently each repast. After switching to alkaline water, he seldom takes a pill. Some people just need to change something in their diets to observe relief. A lot of people expect for a pill to treat the symptoms of a dietary insufficiency. If y'all just don't care, go to a cancer infirmary and request someone how information technology feels to become through chemo. I say this equally a male parent to my toddler that has to take immunotherapy to correct her continuous boxing with OMA(Opsoclonus Myoclonus Clutter) from Neuroblastoma (cancer). We were prescribed Zantac for a calendar month when she was a newborn. This was earlier discovering she was born with pyloric stenosis as the medicine just seemed to make her spit up more. I practice not believe this to exist the crusade of her cancer, but it may have been a contributing factor, equally the cancer was not in her CT browse from when she had surgery to correct the pyloric stenosis. Basically she wasn't born with the tumor. My only hope is that whoever reads this, is a lilliputian more than cautious so I was almost the chemicals they put in and on their bodies, and the body of their loved ones. It is no wonder that cancer is 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women, when the food, clothes, drugs, shelters, and ,equally yous mentioned, air contain harmful man made chemicals. For case, for years I used to employ caput and shoulders for men, because I had a dry itchy scalp, and thought it smelled skillful. Later on my daughters pyloric stenosis surgery, we switched our lifestyle to introduce more natural products. I switched to a natural shampoo and conditioner, and the dryness and itchiness stopped the next day.

I hear what you're saying and if you feel severe heartburn and so it is absolutely necessary to observe relief, however EACH of these pills is 400% OVER what is considered safety. Famotidine does not work the aforementioned as Ranitidine…I have already tried this.
Interesting enough…I chosen the FDA last month near the Zantac. Nexium is known for LOWERING your Blood Magnesium Level, which tin kill you if it goes too low. This is the aforementioned for Omeprazole. I was on Nexium and that is why they stopped it and put me on Ranitidine. I am struggling with trying to go on my Magnesium level upwards to the bare minimum of the normal range as information technology is and cannot be on any other GERD Medicines other than Ranitidine. Since hearing about this call back, I have tried switching to taking "Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother" (i Tablespoon 1-2 times a day) and amazing plenty it works for me. Y'all may want to endeavor this method–information technology's all natural. Chase vinegar with h2o or put information technology into a drinking glass of water or applesauce.
It's important to be articulate in your statements regarding product recalls.
Two drug manufacturers have voluntarily withdrawn their products from the market place indefinitely due to NDMA contagion. As of this writing, the FDA has Not issued a coating recall of all ranitidine products.
Sandoz has voluntarily recalled its 150mg and 300 mg ranitidine tablets. Apotex has voluntarily recalled its 75 mg and 150 mg ranitidine products in all delivery formats.
For those who asked, Pepcid (famotidine) and Tagamet (cimetidine) are the same class of drug as Zantac (H2 blockers). They work more slowly than ranitidine does.
—-

Be careful substituting Tagamet (cimetidine) for Zantac (ranitidine). Tagamet (cimetidine) has many drug-drug interactions that Zantac (ranitidine) does non. I would feel okay with suggesting Pepcid (famotidine) in place of Zantac (ranitidine)

Let's face information technology, living causes Cancer!
The number of drugs that turn out to be bad for the states and/or our dog's is ever changing. My Golden Retriever took Apoquel for her allergies. She was after diagnosed with cancer and, after surgery was to began chemo treatments. I was told by ii Oncology veterinarians that she would have to come off Apoquel earlier chemo could begin, because it could cause tumors in large brood domestic dog's. She was given an injection of Cytopoint which helped her allergies. Unfortunately, the chemo could not keep the aggressive cancer at bay.
Did Apoquel assistance or hurt?
Why is that product needed to industry Zantac?

10 years ago….Later my carcinoid cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery, I was placed on Zantac 150mg bid. This new revelation is frightening! And so, what am I to be on the watch for? What blazon of cancer does this cause?? I'm truly sick to my stomach now!!!
The bottom line is if someone gets cancer, let alone dies from it …at that place will never exist a manner to attribute it to Ranitidine.
Still, I accept signed onto a class activity lawsuit, yet highly uncertainty much of it comes to it. Perhaps some safeguards for people in the future.
F*CK large Pharma!!!!
my Sister has Stage iv cancer and has been taking zantac for years for ulcers. is this what caused her cancer, now wondering and a little angry.
Big Parm could care less about humans-What is with the FDA we demand new people they are suppose to protect us not consistently change their minds afterwards 2 years and Azure
totally concord with y'all. Its really all about the money!!!
What is the path to join this class activeness lawsuit you joined? I was prescribed the 300 mg for 90 days and simply finished script but DO Non desire to refill script… than you then much for input!!

I accept taken this drug for seven years every 24-hour interval im 34 now i take this to bargain with.
Take into consideration all the good meds they accept brought forth. H2 blockers saved my life from a devastating class c esophagitis that severely constricted my esophagus twice in my life. Every particular you ingest, especially medicines, come with a certain amount of risk, especially over the long term as they learn more and more about each of them, how they interact with certain people with certain medical weather condition, and with other medicines. Not making whatsoever excuses for anybody, but allow's not tear downwardly the whole industry due to something no one, including the FDA, has any specific proof of yet. In every situation, utilize your God-given critical thinking skills and evaluate what's right for your particular circumstance(s).
Yeah, funny how Canada ( with gov. Sponsored health care) pulls Zantac, however hither in the good ol United states and big pharma and multi billion dollar insurance companies tell us everything is fine, nothing to come across here. Money profits over health.

Proton pump inhibitors similar pantoprazole has been proven through many studies that it has a high risk of cancer over years of usage……..nobody is talking about information technology…
Even with high level NDMA contaminated drugs like valsartan studies have shown that it is not linked to cancer….
Why are we making low levels NDMA in Ranitidine an unnecessary event….

Why is Valisure saying "alarmingly high levels of NDMA establish" & FDA is saying "very small amounts of NDMA found."
Someone has a new medication to come out on the market cheaper to manufacture…. Different patent that they tin can clasp for maximum profit

Having used ranitidine 150 QD for decades (since before the patents ran out), & realizing that higher-priced not-generics still under patents produce higher profits all downwards the line, my cynical nature raises some questions. Are all the generics going to disappear, leaving only patented, newer drugs, available, even though ranitidine has been tested by millions of the ultimate lab rats, (u.s.a.), with remarkably few issues attributed. As well, do all batches have NDMA, or only some, and do all manufacturers have the issue, or just some. Who raised the issue first — FDA or a pharma company? If pharma, do they have a more lucrative new &/or patented "heartburn drug".
("-codone" drug problems history justifies such suspicions, since they are associated with thousands of deaths, yet are withal abundant on the market). It was obvious (as a neurosurgeon) that they were highly addictive early on, still "pain control as a vital sign" became an accreditation consequence for hospitals, and ensured lax controls and force per unit area to up the pain meds on demand. Much more could be said only gets off the current topic.
Why this fright-driven data-deficient action, causing withdrawal from the market without whatsoever homo cases institute, stoking fear for patients, while lethal drugs are however tolerated on the market en masse?

I have been taking zantac/generic equal in 300 mg dose force nightly for the past 30+ years along with opermazol 80 mg in the AM. This has been regiment that has kept me in check from my tum & esophageal bleeding uclers. So now they determine that in that location is a component in the zantac/ generic that may cause cancer.
It has taken them long enough to publish information. So if all things being equal, dose this follow that this will follow like the baby talchum powder cover up police force suites against these drug manufactures as well.

Elementary. This will continue to happen with all drugs, OTC & Rx. Why? Our drugs are beingness manufactured in Republic of india & China. Why? It'south cheap for Big Pharma . Who is getting rich? Pharma companies!! Wait on your Rx paperwork from your pharmacy. Telephone call Congressman, esp the House and yell- bring the drug labs back to the USA
My doctors prescribed ranitidine for me years ago.
I have a lot of breadbasket issues. I likewise have other health issues.
I felt more and more than ill, simply doctors told me NOT to stop taking it considering my torso isn't able to practice what it's supposed to, on it'south own any more than, Considering of taking it for so long.
I was never warned that it could happen, .. just told to keep taking information technology.
At ane point I ran out and wasn't able to refill the prescription for about 4 days.
I honestly felt a little better off of it than when I took information technology, although my tummy acid came dorsum.
I told the medico, but was told to continue taking it.
Now, after reading nearly other countries banning information technology, .. I'k honestly wondering about ever taking it again !

If you're taking 2-3 a twenty-four hour period it'south probably time to see your Doctor and go a Rx for something better that will last for 12 or 24 hours. Just go non-Zantac and y'all won't have to worry. You lot can get Rxs actually cheap with programs like "Skillful rx". I mean pennies on the dollar! And no Insurance! Cheque it out. You might go to the other form like prilosec and nexium which are PPIs. Proton pump inhibitors. I prefer the H2 histamine blockers like Zantac. Merely I only use it occasionally 0-3 times a week. I am non a Doctor. This is merely personal experience.

Does Zandoz Omeprazole 20 also accept health risks? I have beeb using it for years. Although I had a lap nissan.

2.5 mg NDMA was institute in 150 mg tablet of ranitidine which is 26000 times greater than the permissible limit, if taken ane tablet per twenty-four hour period. The typical recommended dose for peptic ulcer affliction in adults is 150 mg twice daily for four – 8 weeks followed by maintenance dose of 150 mg in one case daily. In this way, five mg NDMA is consumed per day that is total 280 mg if used for eight weeks. It tin reach exposure of upwards to 1 Gm in a year which is alarming. Studies published in peer review scientific literatures reveal the beingness of dangerous levels of NDMA in the urine of those who had taken Ranitidin.

Obaid, did you lot brand that up? As far as I know, no one has published the corporeality of NDMA institute. 2.v mg seems unlikely. You'd be talking nigh 10% decomposition specifically to this one impurity.
Also, we don't know what a dangerous level is for this molecule. It is very carcinogenic to mice and rats, simply wasn't carcinogenic at all to monkeys (meet Berkeley's Carcinogenic Potency Project).

Oh wow, I too am freaking out!!
Are you lot taking over the counter ??? The prescription stuff should be fine this is affecting over the counter stuff that is what my chemist's told me
"Information technology is important to know that the NDMA in ranitidine products does not pose whatsoever immediate health risks. Neither the FDA nor Novartis/Sandoz or Apotex take received any reports of adverse events related to NDMA found in ranitidine. Although classified every bit a probable carcinogen, NDMA may cause cancer only later on exposure to high doses over a long menses of fourth dimension. NDMA is 1 of the same impurities that was found in certain heart medications offset terminal year and that resulted in the retrieve of many products."
Given the ubiquity of some carcinogens in the environs, PCBs, TCDD, organophosphates, 2,four-D, et al, why would anyone desire to gamble orally ingesting even a piffling scrap of another? Has no one at Harvard ever heard of synergistic furnishings?
While I tin can understand health care providers wanting patients to keep taking, for example, some types of "heart" medication, wouldn't you be serving your patients best by working/lobbying, etc., to find a improve source of medications? Or pushing for essential meds to be made in the Usa AND take strict regulatory enforcement of manufacture of those medications?

September 28, 2019
[9/27, three:29 PM] Shilpa reddy: NDMA in Ranitidine is at a very depression dose level equal to what is found in meat, bacon, drinking water ,beer, dairy products etc …
i. At that place is no proof of NDMA causing cancer at the dosage levels information technology is consumed through drug use.
2. Some articles suggest that NDMA "may" cause cancer in i in 8000 people who accept medication for a continuous use !
iii. Ofcourse, patient safety is well-nigh important, just it seems similar the big guys are backside this stuff to bruise generic drug makers ( who manufacture other acidity drugs )
Only to clarify.. A few days of these drugs don't cause harm. In fact they may save y'all from serious gastritis. Long term use.. As in months and years causes the lining of the stomach to habiliment off. This is a chance for cancer.
Sharon Wiggins
September 30, 2019
I have been on 300mgs a day for 7 years for severe acid reflux. Yous're saying my stomach lining has worn off by this and I am at take a chance for cancer?
If so, how much of a risk given amounts I take taken.
I took it and then my stomach lining and esophagus lining would not rear downward and create esophageal cancer!
Well-nigh people take a prescribed drug for more than than 'a few days', especially this type of drug. A friend doesn't like drugs of whatever sort, and is on a highly restrictive (i.e. boring) diet to avert taking these drugs. It sounds equally if she is right. Does long term utilise of things like bisodol also impact the lining of the stomach, if you have gastritis (which is difficult to cure)? Is a wearisome diet (like my friends – no spices, no booze etc) – the answer?
